To execute this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

• In addition to proof of 1560 hours of temporary traffic control experience as a Certified Flagger.
  Adhere to company, state and federal guidelines for effective, Safe and well managed TTC (Temporary Traffic Control) work zones.
• Must be Alert and Attentive.
• Monitors roadway construction zones.
• Report any unknown, observed or suspected violation of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to site supervisors.

ABILITIES
In addition to Flagging skills, management skills required: 

• Ability to receive and communicate specific instructions clearly, firmly, and courteously;
• Ability to move and maneuver quickly in order to avoid danger from errant vehicles;
• Ability to understand and apply safe traffic control practices, sometimes in stressful or emergency situations;
• Ability to recognize dangerous traffic situations and warn workers in sufficient time to avoid injury.​​
